| The roots of Paul Steinbroner's professional film career can be
traced back to the early seventies when he was a film student at San
Francisco State . While completing his degree, he worked for KRON-TV
as an assistant editor for a daily show focusing on medical issues.
This led to an opportunity to research and develop the script for
a film on psychoactive drugs. Discovering the complex nuances surrounding
the neurochemistry of addiction became the motivating force behind
his life's work – substance abuse education. He formed a corporation,
CNS Productions, Inc.,
with acclaimed director and editor, William E, Cohen and one of the
founders of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, Darryl Inaba, Pharm D.
For more than 30 years, this company has produced and distributed
drug education materials to treatment facilities, health care professionals
and academia. |
